What The Role Entails

This role is ideal for a veterinarian who:

  • Enjoys routine surgery and dentistry and wants to further hone their skills
  • Is comfortable handling urgent/same-day cases with calm, decisive care
  • Can work independently with excellent judgment, while knowing when to collaborate
  • Appreciates a structured, well-run clinic with systems that support high-quality medicine

Interest in complex medical cases and intensive preventive care are not required, as these are the focus of our established veterinarian. We’re looking for someone who truly enjoys and excels in urgent care, surgery, and possibly dentistry. Ideally, you have a solid foundation of experience and can work independently in your core areas, while continuing to grow in other areas with support and mentorship available when needed.

What You’ll Need

  • DVM/VMD degree and license to practice in Missouri
  • 2+ years clinical experience preferred
  • Competence in routine surgeries (spays/neuters and mass removals)
  • Strong communication skills with clients and coworkers
  • A deep sense of responsibility, humility, and personal integrity
  • Comfort working in a high-expectation, low-drama environment

What You’ll Get

  • Full-time base salary $125,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience and surgical proficiency)
  • Part-time schedule available – base salary pro-rated accordingly
  • Quarterly production bonus at 22% of personal production above salary-equivalent threshold (no negative accrual)
